Turning It Into Enough...

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Melody Beattie

Gratitude is one of the most simple ways that we can begin to change and recover from anxiety and depression. Taking small moments to focus on what we are grateful can have a profound effect--and it is one of the things we forget to do or dismiss because it is too simple.

Here is something for you to experience: Take a walk and just focus on being grateful for the small things. Begin a gratitude challenge with a friend-snap or text back and forth daily something you are grateful for. Write three words a day in a gratitude journal for one week. Find something to be grateful for even in the ridiculous events of life.
